3-Months Chong-Ren Fertility Pathway

Lead by Frank

When you’re ready to grow your family, you deserve more than guesswork. At Lotus Care, we pair classical acupuncture and herbs with modern cycle-tracking to optimize ovulation, lining, and luteal stability—one well-timed session at a time. Care is precise, warm, and deeply personal in our Centretown Ottawa clinic.

A structured rhythm that respects biology—and your schedule. For continuous 3 months:

  1. Pre-Period Reset — 1 Acupuncture & 5 days Herbs
1–3 days before your bleed: ease cramps/PMS, clear stagnation, set up a cleaner period.
  2. Follicular Boost — 1 Acupuncture & 10 days Herbs
Nourish and perfuse—help follicles mature and the lining build evenly.
  3. Ovulation Window — 1 Acupuncture & 5 days Herbs
Within 3 days before ovulation (partners welcome): calm the nervous system, optimize pelvic blood flow, encourage timely ovulation.
  4. Luteal Support — 1 Acupuncture & 10 days Herbs
Warm and secure the “nest,” reduce uterine irritability, settle sleep and mood.

ART/IVF Support Track

Acupuncture that fits around your IVF—not the other way around.

  1. Pre-IVF Regulation (6–12 weeks before stimulation)
Monthly visits to calm stress pathways, regulate cycles, and prep uterine/ovarian perfusion so you start stimulation from a steadier baseline.
  2. During Stimulation
Weekly visits to maintain circulation and relaxation; optional session 24–48h before retrieval if you feel crampy or anxious.
  3. Embryo Transfer Day
1 visit to settle the nervous system and optimize pelvic blood flow on the day that matters most.
  4. Post-Transfer / Luteal Support (DPT 2–7)
1–2 visits to support implantation comfort, sleep, and mood.

What the evidence says:

  • Some meta-analyses report higher clinical pregnancy rates in certain protocols or vs non-treatment controls (results vary by timing and control type). BioMed Central+2PubMed Central+2
  • Consistently, acupuncture reduces IVF-related state anxiety and stress, which many patients value during treatment. PubMed+1

Our stance: we don’t promise pregnancy. We promise precise, phase-timed care that keeps you calmer, more comfortable, and physiologically supported throughout IVF.

Why patients commit to the full program here

  • Timing is everything. We place care exactly where it changes outcomes most—before ovulation (or ET) to prepare the body, and after to protect the luteal window.
  • Whole-system effects. Sessions help normalize cycle length and mid-cycle comfort while improving sleep and stress resilience—key for natural cycles and ART.
  • Truly integrative. We fold in herbs, moxa, and lifestyle steps; we coordinate with your labs/OPKs/ultrasounds so TCM and biomedicine pull in the same direction.

What to expect at each visit

  1. Brief check-in (cycle day, this week’s goal)
  2. Gentle, targeted acupuncture (20–30 min), with moxa or ear-seeds if appropriate
  3. Simple home steps (warmth, sleep, movement, nutrition) you can actually keep
  4. Couples welcome at the pre-ovulation visit.
